Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for anticipated part-time adjunct faculty openings in the Department of History to teach one 300-level 3-credit course on either colonial or modern Latin American history. Prepare syllabus, order book/s, upload scanned readings to Brightspace. Deliver lectures, discuss readings, provide student feedback and submit midterm and final grades in accordance with College expectations of faculty. Have awareness that some students are taking the class in preparation to certify as Social Studies teachers.

Delivery mode: In-person teaching is preferred, but candidates who can only teach synchronously online will be considered. Asynchronous delivery is not an option.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in History in Latin American History, TA or teaching experience from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.

• PhD in History in Latin American History, TA or teaching experience from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
