The basics of this position:

This position is Part- Time and will support the offices of the campus president, campus vice president, and campus marketing/communications at the Florissant Valley campus. The employee will perform the functions of typing, filing, recordkeeping, and answering phones in a department office; organizing supplies; and greeting students, staff, and visitors.

What you'll do:

Prioritizes and provides skilled typing services to ensure accurate and timely completion of all clerical tasks such as correspondence, reports, instructional materials, and college forms.

Maintains filing system to ensure accurate and complete department records.

Orders supplies and maintains inventory.

May greet students, staff and visitors to provide information and ensure delivery of
accurate information and necessary services.

Screens phone calls, answering questions or forwarding to appropriate personnel.

May make appointments for department personnel.

Uses computer, telephone, copier, calculator.

Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent and over three (3) months of full-time (or 6 months part-time) general clerical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of STLCC processes and procedures.
