Job Details
The Department of Physics at Utica University, in Utica, NY is looking for a one-year Assistant Professor position to begin August 2022 and will continue through the Spring 2023 semester.
The candidate will teach introductory Physics courses and associated laboratories, although other courses may be taught depending on experience. We strongly encourage candidates from historically underrepresented groups in Physics to apply.
The department is seeking a candidate with a Ph.D. in Physics or closely related field
Experience teaching introductory physics is required, and experience with research-based instructional strategies is preferred. Strong candidates without teaching experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Commitment and ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds is necessary.
