Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Developer assists in designing, developing and troubleshooting decision support systems, business intelligence specific tools and reports. 

Duties & Responsibilities:
•Develops procedures in SQL Server for enterprise data warehousing and operational reporting
•Troubleshoots issues with incorrect SQL code, faulty table structures, and reporting inaccuracies
•Creates and enhances reports using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft SSRS
•Assists with code optimizing and table optimizing
•Designs ETL packages in SSIS for transporting data from external systems into enterprise data warehouse
•Communicates with users on their requirements and data needs
•Works together with BI team to review and improve processes and code

Minimum Requirements:     
•Minimum of (5) years of progressive experience in business intelligence systems, SQL development, and data visualization tools
•Working knowledge of business intelligence development using Microsoft SQL Server 
•Working knowledge of SSIS (or other ETL tools) 
•Basic understanding of Kimball Methodologies, data warehousing, and normalization vs denormalization
•Experience with dashboard visualization tools, preferably Microsoft Power BI
•Demonstrated excellence in a variety of competencies including teamwork/collaboration
•Ability to write and learn DAX for both Microsoft Excel and Power BI
