Job Details
Miami Dade College, Kendall Campus is now accepting applications for a Senior Database Administrator. The Senior Database Administrator handles the lifecycle of enterprise database and business intelligence (BI) solutions on the Microsoft SQL server in a dynamic multi server environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Lifecycle of the SQL Server platform
Optimizes the performance and capacity of the database development, test, and production environments
Implements, monitors, and improves system security configurations
Research, analyze document and resolve database issues
Responsible for the recovery and business continuously solutions for the all-database infrastructure
Develops and maintains system documentation
Collaborates with other IT team members and college departments to develop database, data warehouse and BI solutions
Provides timely and rapid response to request and incidents
Develops scripts to automate recurring tasks using storage procedures
Minimum Requirements:
Six (6) years of progressive experience in implementing complex network and network security technologies
