Full-time, tenure-track position in the Construction Management and
Architecture program within the School of Engineering to begin
January 2023.
Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach architectural design and related construction management courses. Responsibilities include teaching classes such as: Architectural Design Studios, Introduction to CAD, Architectural Rending and other courses related to construction management and architecture. In addition, this individual will be expected to develop and maintain related laboratory equipment and supplies and be the liaison with professional industry partners for job and internship placement. Student recruitment and participation in ANSAC/ABET accreditation process expected. Research and writing commensurate for an Assistant Professor tenure-track position is required.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Masters of Architecture or related terminal degree is required.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and architectural design is required.
Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
One year of U.S. construction industry experience preferred. Experience with virtual/augmented reality preferred.
