Possible areas of expertise include public health, critical health studies, global health, health science, mental health, health communication, health and arts, disability studies, medical anthropology.

Required qualifications include: Ph.D. or doctorate in a health-related discipline (see above) and the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and staff from various backgrounds. Tenured and tenure-track candidates will be expected to maintain a program of research. All candidates will engage in teaching and service.
