About the Opportunity:

Mills College at Northeastern University is seeking part-time faculty to teach a variety of courses at Northeastern's San Francisco campus located at 600 California Street, San Francisco, CA 94108. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe. Responsibilities:

Mills College seek applicants to teach courses in one or more of the following fields: First Year Writing, Principles of Macroeconomics, Foundations of Psychology, Introduction to Marketing, Sex, Gender, and Popular Culture, Current Issues in Cities and Suburbs, and Technology and Human Values .

Responsibilities include: developing a syllabus, assignments, assessments and course schedule to meet required learning outcomes; developing and delivering course content using the Mills College at Northeastern teaching and learning platforms and facilities; holding appropriate office hours; engaging with departmental and university part-time faculty obligations as required.

Qualifications:

M.A. required, Ph.D. or A.B.D. preferred. Preference will be given to persons experienced in teaching large and diverse groups of students.
