Position Purpose
Apply knowledge of systems, analytics, reporting in support of Arts & Sciences academic mission. Build interactive reports and models combining multiple data sources to evaluate operational effectiveness, understanding the needs for consistency, scalability and sustainability. Incorporate visualizations, KPIs, and narratives to highlight insights, updates, and activity requiring attention. Communicate analysis, predictions, and recommendations to leadership. Work with and lead cross-functional teams to implement, analyze, and improve effective business processes.

Bachelors plus 6 or more years' experience or combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Six years of experience involving extensive contact with customers identifying, researching, analyzing, and resolving complex questions.
- Demonstrated curiosity and ability to apply data when confronted with unknown, hypothetical, or anecdotal causal links.
- Experience with query languages, data warehouses, and business analysis/data visualization software.
- Oral and written communication skills that support effective communication with technical staff and business leadership.
- Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize multiple deadline-driven tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to function independently with minimal oversight.
- Ability to quickly learn and work with new tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment with sensitive information.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment where consensus-based decision making is driven by data.
- Commitment to customer service, diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office products and other common office software.
- Knowledge of relational database: Filemaker, Oracle, OnBase, eForms.
- Ability to develop visual project timelines and business workflows.
- Experience developing documentation for users.
- Experience in higher education and/or fundraising environment.

- Arts & Sciences uses a range of systems for faculty HR,
recruitment, rank, advancement, awards, and other data.
- Prepare for system updates, identify changes that may be required to support software updates/releases, and plan for business practice changes, including system migrations and vendor integrations.
- Identify gaps and potential solutions.
- Work with programmers during development cycle to complete project specifications, complete coding in a timely manner, define and execute test plans, and manage releases.
