Position Purpose
Develops, implements and evaluates the Hopkins Center’s digital communications, including website, eblast, video, online platforms and digital advertising strategies. Reporting to the Director of External Affairs, this position works as part of the Marketing & Communications team and manages the Multimedia Associate.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp
Bachelors plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing or communications, managing multi-channel campaigns.
- Demonstrated proficiency with graphic design for digital channels.
- Experience managing a website CMS (Drupal or similar) and in basic front-end web development, including standards-based HTML and CSS .
- Ability to work collaboratively, contribute creatively and incorporate feedback willingly.
- Self-sufficiency in managing simultaneous projects and meeting deadlines for daily deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to effectively express ideas through digital communications.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and serving the needs of a diverse population.
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing or communications experience in the creative sector or mission-driven organization.
- A portfolio of projects and digital collateral.
- Masters in fine arts, non-profit management, arts administration or related field.

Description
Management of Digital Communications
Plans, designs and delivers rich eblasts to promote events, initiatives, stories and opportunities through targeted eblasts and ticket holder communication. Collaborates with the team on the text, imagery and content, integrating feedback from stakeholders. Manages e-distribution tools and lists and develops systems and practices for strategic segmentation and maintenance of patron communications. Analyzes eblast results to make data-driven strategies for digital engagement, and incorporates insights from industry peers and the field of digital communications. Collaborates across the Hop team on internal communications and data systems that enable efficient, accurate sharing of event information.

Description
Management of Hop Websites
Serves as webmaster of the Hop website—building pages, updating content and managing navigation. Analyzes web usage and makes or recommends improvements with a mind toward creating a cohesive, smooth and inspiring user experience. Works with Box Office and ITC to manage the integration between the website and Tessitura, and liaises with Dartmouth Web Services on design and functional enhancements.

Description
Management of Multimedia
Oversees video platforms and plans for archival, promotional and strategic storytelling. Liaises with Dartmouth media services, outside video contractors and student workers. Creates engaging video content for Hop website, social media and digital channels, and collaborates on virtual events. Produces, shoots, edits video as needed, and oversees the video work of the Multimedia Associate and Hop Video Fellow.

Description
Digital Advertising Management
Plans and executes search, display, social and video ads—in-house or in collaboration with outside contractors. Work with the Director of External Affairs and Senior Marketing Manager to plan digital advertising budgets and assess outcomes. Researches and incorporates digital advertising trends and practices in cultural institutions.
