The MFT Clinic Director’s role is to provide administrative oversight for the Couple and Family Therapy Center ( CFTC ). These duties include administrative supervision of clinic supervisors and staff, stewardship of records and record systems, coordinating response to subpoenas and records requests, and maintenance of clinic facilities and supplies. The Clinic Director will develop and administer clinic policies and procedures for accreditation, in conjunction with the Department Chair and Program Director, and teach two graduate level practicum or supervision courses/section per semester. The Clinic Director will support departmental operations including advising and committee membership. Qualifications
A Master’s degree and license in Marriage and Family Therapy is required. Approved Supervisor credential ( AAMFT ) required. Graduate level teaching experience is required. Eight years of post-master’s clinical experience is required. Experience with electronic medical records system(s) (preferably Titanium) is required. Three years of post-masters experience supervising the clinical work of MFT students is required. Job Specific Qualifications

  • Teach graduate level practicum or supervision courses/section each semester.
  • Provide administrative supervision and support of Couple and Family Therapy Center supervisors and staff.
  • Develop and administer clinic policies and procedures for accreditation, in conjunction with the Department Chair and Program Director.
  • Provide stewardship of records and record systems, and the CFTC’s legal needs including coordinating responses to subpoenas and records requests.
  • Oversee the maintenance of facilities, supplies and resources of the Center.
