Assistant Professor - Psychiatry - Maryland Early Intervention Program, First Episode Clinic
The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, is seeking a full or part-time faculty psychiatrist for the MdEIP, FEC. The position is a faculty appointment at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and offers exciting opportunities for clinical care, teaching and research. Child Adolescent Fellowship specialization is preferred but not required. Teaching opportunities may include supervision of Child Adolescent fellows and post-doctoral psychology interns. Development opportunities include expanding the role of the FEC in the Child and Adolescent Fellowship training, expanding the role of the FEC in the Maryland-Pennsylvania learning hub for first episode psychosis, and the opportunity to develop research interest in early intervention and first episode populations. Candidates must be ABPN certified or eligible. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience. Expected rank is Assistant Professor or higher, however, rank and tenure status is dependent on candidate's qualifications.
