Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
The Instructor of Early Childhood Education will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Early Childhood Education in the School of Education.
Responsibilities
The position requires the faculty member to teach undergraduate and graduate classes during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. The faculty member teaches 2 (3 hour) courses per semester, including summer for a total of 6 courses annually
Required Qualifications
Earned doctorate in Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution Is required. Three years of successful work experience with young children or equivalent clinical experiences serving children PK-5 are also required.
Preferred Qualifications
A desirable qualification includes public school experience. Other preferred qualifications include knowledge of ECEC standards and standards-based instruction and the ability to work with people from various backgrounds. Successful university-level teaching is highly preferred.
Proposed Salary
Salary range is from $20,000 to $24,000
