- Plans, implements, manages, monitors, and upgrades content for the organization's website, social, print, digital platforms/content management system (CMS).
- Collaborates with departments and vendors to design and implement content management processes & procedures to meet brand requirements.
- Creates content calendars to ensure that departments review and provide regular updates.
- Creates compelling website, social platform, and digital copy/content, and identifies appropriate placement of copy/content on all platforms.
- Conducts content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
- Conducts research to identify trends and best practices, and makes recommendations to improve the user experience, including testing plans and analysis of website traffic, Google Analytics, and social media insights.
- Ensures full compliance on website, social and digital platforms with all laws and regulations.
- Supervisory responsibility.
Requirements:
-
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, journalism, communications, computer science or related field
- Five or more years of documented experience as a content strategist and social media manager
- Experienced in leading and developing content strategy to build brand awareness and positioning across print, digital, and social platforms
- Experienced in content management systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot strategic areas and outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent content creation and writing skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and projects while maintaining openness and ability to learn new concepts and systems quickly
- Ability to identify potential needs, work with conflict resolution, and make decisions collaboratively.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing on social platforms and associated metrics and analysis
- Other duties as assigned to support the Division of Advancement & Strategic Partnerships.
