Job Summary
Human Resources Coordinators are responsible for managing University needs in their respective area. This position provides advanced administrative support to the Benefits area. Works in a customer-focused role providing support, guidance and assistance to employees.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Manage the Tuition Assistance Program
  • Assist Benefits Manager with administration of Family Medical Leave
  • Retirement and Benefits Counseling including New Hire Benefit Orientation
  • Assist with the administration of the Workers' Compensation program
  • Reconcile benefit and payroll reports
  • Assist with planning and hosting Benefit Fairs
  • Administer the Shared Sick Leave program
  • Process Military Leave requests
  • Process leave job data changes
  • Assist, monitor, and respond to Tier 2 inquiries submitted in the MyHelp Ticket System, as well as emails, chats, walk-ins and phone calls
  • Assist employees through Human Resources Benefits processes

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience
  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in employee benefits program
  • Experience working at a post-secondary institution

Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Documents and Sheets

Proposed Salary
$41,100 - $45,770

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
