Northern State University (NSU) is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) as an Instructional Designer. CETL works with Northern faculty members to implement student-centered pedagogies and engaging curriculums. We support interdisciplinary discussions, innovative programming, and critical learning communities through campus-wide programming and funding opportunities. The instructional designer collaborates with faculty, CETL staff, Instructional Technologies, and Media Services to create high-quality face-to-face, HyFlex, and online courses. They also evaluate online courses to ensure they meet the standards set by the South Dakota Board of Regents and design professional pedagogical programming for faculty.
