Job Description Summary / TWC Summary
This person will be responsible for teaching courses in the Aviation Science and Technology program at Texas Southern University. To teach the following courses: Aviation Management, Aviation Law, Air Carrier Management, Aviation Safety, General Aviation, Transportation Survey, Aviation Industry Regulation, Air Transport Labor Relations, Airline Management, Airport Planning, General Aviation Operations, Aviation Security Management, Air Traffic Control, Aviation Weather, Internship and Capstone.
Essential Duties Summary
Maintain appropriate office hours and to assist students with program-related matters.
Attend department meetings as required.
Engage in other assignments as determined by the director of the program. Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:
Other duties may include advising, recruiting students and collaborating with business and industry partners to provide necessary training and education.

Master’s Degree in one of the following fields: Aviation Management, Business Administration in Aviation, Aeronautical Science, Aviation Science, Aerospace Administration or Commercial Aviation. Industry experience will be considered in lieu a of specific master’s degree.
