Summary
Leverage your strategic thinking and project management skills to support University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis recent growth and brand change. The University has a long-standing record of excellence as a pharmacy college and recently grew into a University, expanding its undergraduate and graduate offerings. The Marketing and Communications Manager will work with the marketing team and other departments in an effort to raise University awareness and increase enrollment. They are responsible for the management of a wide range of projects, ensuring strong, efficient and accurate marketing support for campus clients. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

You will get to:
  • Manage projects, from team assignments/tasks, interview coordination, timelines, budgets, and serve as a point of contact for all project details while developing strong relationships with campus clients to ensure objectives are met
  • Utilize project management software to maintain a consistent and accurate account of project details, progress and outcomes
  • Write creative briefs to provide a foundational understanding of project goals, audiences, messaging needs, specifications, deliverables, etc.
  • Support all marketing team members to ensure they have the needed context and resources
  • Analyze the University's recruitment advertising and marketing to identify strategic weaknesses and make recommendations for improvements
  • Review work and perform quality control on projects throughout development to maintain standards expected.
  • Evaluate internal processes and make recommendations for more efficient workflow, as needed


  • Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A bachelors degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing or similar field of study
  • 2+ years of experience leading marketing projects
  • Strong timeline management skills, the ability to analyze and interpret statistics and data, excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, and able to explain subjective concepts effectively
  • Strategic and tactical thinking, data-driven decision making, and short and long-term planning skills are required
  • Excellent customer service skills, collegiality and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people on a variety of channels, and to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Sensitivity to issues related to recruitment and retention of a diverse student body are required
