Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor, Organizational Behavior

Job Description Summary
The Management Department at Bentley University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Organizational Behavior, effective fall 2023. The rank of the appointment is open to assistant and associate professors. Salary is competitive.

We are looking for candidates with a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Management or a closely related discipline with a research focus and a teaching interest in Organizational Behavior. Expertise in all areas of Organizational Behavior is welcome, though preference will be given to those with expertise in Leadership, Organizational Development and Change. Additional expertise in International Management, Entrepreneurship, or a focus in Healthcare is also desirable. Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research, teaching Organizational Behavior and related courses (e.g., Leadership, Change, Human Resources) at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and participating in other academic and professional activities.

We are also committed to producing high-quality research. Departmental faculty members have a diverse set of research interests and have published in top academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science,Organization Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, The Journal of International Business Studies, MISQuarterly, The Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Management Science, The Journal of World Business, Journal of Management Studies, Human Relations, Long Range Planning, Business and Society, Human Resources Management and Business Ethics Quarterly .

Our distinguished faculty has received many research and teaching awards from the university and professional organizations and serve as editors or sit on the editorial boards of many well-regarded journals. We are the largest department at Bentley University with roughly 30 tenured and tenure-track faculty, providing rich opportunities for research and teaching collaboration.
