Job Description:

The Development Coordinator, WSRE performs administrative duties with considerable responsibility for managing and coordinating departmental operations and procedures. This position is required to perform duties of a major gift officer in assisting to acquire donor prospects. The Development Coordinator builds and manages valuable relationships with major gift prospects and station donors and performs duties with considerable responsibility for managing and coordinating major donors. This position is responsible for technical assistance and research in preparing various federal, state, or local reports. The Development Coordinator, WSRE will also include assisting with managing major donors and coordinating Major Giving Initiative Campaign responsibilities. Reports to the Director of Development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate degree or appropriate work experience may be substituted for the College degree requirement. A minimum of four years full-time administrative office experience. Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, etc.) in a networked office setting and internet navigation. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.

SALARY: $28,200.00 ($14.47/hour)
