Job Details

The Management Department of the College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University invites applications for a tenure-track position with a focus on organizational behavior and human resources at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

At the Assistant level, a Ph.D. or DBA in Management or a related area (conferred by August 2023 at latest) is required, along with evidence of teaching effectiveness and research potential in the area of organizational behavior and human resources. At the Associate level, in addition to the requirements for the Assistant level, candidates should also have a strong record of successful research and publications. Applicants should demonstrate strong evidence of the capacity and desire to engage in teaching, scholarship and service toward tenure.

Evidence of research potential and teaching effectiveness are critical. The ideal candidate will demonstrate interest and potential to engage in collaborative and inter-disciplinary research and teaching. The appointment involves teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Prior teaching and industry experiences are appreciated but not required. Opportunities exist for summer research grants, additional teaching income, and travel to professional conferences.

The Management department is interdisciplinary, with faculty members spanning various areas of management research and teaching.
