Job Description:

The Administrative Clinical Coordinator Places students in appropriate clinical sites by contacting clinical sites, preceptors, and clinical associates each semester. Collaborate with program directors to develop and coordinate clinical placements and schedules each semester. Communicate with students in a timely manner regarding their clinical placements.
Manage the preceptor and clinical associates’ compliance data base by requesting, collecting and organizing all necessary forms including health records, criminal background checks, licensure, preceptor forms and evaluation forms.
Secure new contracts/agreements, track and update all clinical contracts/agreements by maintaining an accurate data base to reflect compliance.
Track students’ compliance with required documentation in Castlebranch or other health monitoring programs. Track preceptor qualifications and licensure.
Serve as administrator for Typhon (student clinical activities tracking system) for the APRN and DNP programs.
Act as a liaison to other university departments and community partners through consistent, timely and respectful communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Previous experience in higher education, preferred.
4. Experience in managing projects utilizing data bases, required.
5. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Adobe, and HP Scanning.
6. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
7. Must have ability to maintain confidentiality of position.

Communication and Other Skills

1. Must have excellent organization skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to manage several tasks at one time.
2. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form.
3. Meet, the requirements to complete and maintain mandatory trainings per the University mandatory training policy, pursuant to the deadlines set forth therein.
