The University of Evansville Music Conservatory has an immediate opening for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Music to teach clarinet and other music courses consistent with the expertise of the candidate and the needs of the Music Conservatory.  Minimum qualifications are a completed master’s degree or artist diploma in music by date of employment (August 24, 2022); doctorate in performance and previous university level teaching experience desired.  This is a one year full-time visiting professorship; the successful candidate may have the opportunity to apply for the anticipated full-time tenure track position.  This full-time appointment requires the candidate to reside in the Evansville area.  Classes begin on August 24, 2022, with on campus meetings beginning August 17, 2022.
