The University of Illinois Springfield invites applications for a tenure-system Assistant or Associate Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Human Resource Management beginning August 16, 2023. This is a full-time on-campus position tenure-track academic appointment. UIS tenure-system faculty are expected to be available and engaged in the campus community, with assigned professional responsibilities for teaching, scholarship, and service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Human Resource Management: MS-HRM program - All core and elective classes MBA curriculum - Human Resource Management as an elective BBA curriculum - HRM courses : 70%
  • Publish in peer-reviewed journals as per the tenure standards established in the department. : 20%
  • Minimal service responsibilities are expected during the probationary period. Service in the department and profession is more important during probationary period with gradual increase to college level and university level. : 10%


Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Business Administration or DBA from an AACSB accredited institution with a specialization in Human Resource
