The University Executive Director of Grants and Sponsored Projects (GSP) supports the research mission of the institution through the implementation and oversight of customer-focused services facilitating the submission of proposals, receipt and negotiation of awards, and fiscal management. Provides leadership in the management and continuous improvement of all pre- and post-award activities, and regulatory compliance for externally sponsored activities. Ensures all staff and research community are aware of regulatory changes affecting their grant program. Serves as FDU's Administrative Official for all grant and contract interfaces with Sponsors. Responsible for maintaining a professional environment that promotes compliant business policies, procedures and practices and works with faculty and staff in a supportive partnership. The position reports to the University Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs.
