Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for a Sports Information Director in the Department of Athletics. The position will develop and coordinate a comprehensive and integrated marketing communications program including media and public relations, publications, advertising, promotional items, signage, web site, social media, e-communications.to help achieve the goals of the College's Athletic program. The Athletics Department is comprised of 23 sports. The person in this role will be required to work some nights' and weekends. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree by time of appointment from a college or
university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an
internationally recognized college or university.
- Minimum three years' experience in a sports information program
at the collegiate level.
- Stat Crew software or equivalent statistical software
experience.
- Demonstrated experience in effective communication, marketing,
and public relations skills.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree by time of appointment from a college or
university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an
internationally recognized college or university.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a sports information program at the
intercollegiate level.
- Experience in development of website design and
management.
- Experience with implementation of athletics communications and
marketing plan.
Work Schedule: Monday -Friday, with some nights and weekends Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary is $50,909. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport.
