Be yourself and start your career here. Help us build a better Brockport! Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for a Multimedia Producer. The Multimedia Producer dynamically tells the SUNY Brockport story to a variety of stakeholders through multiple mediums - with a particular emphasis on video. This writing-based position will work with the Senior Multimedia Producer to create video content that effectively advances SUNY Brockport's marketing/recruitment initiatives and communication efforts. This individual will work with partners across campus to generate story ideas and define strategic objectives. The Multimedia Producer will have a particular focus on pre-production work, scripting, and the overall facilitation of a project's success. The Multimedia Producer will also be part of a team that creates written storytelling for the Brockport website and e-newsletter. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, video
production, or related field, from a college or university
accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an
internationally recognized college or university.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to write news stories and video script
writing experience.
- Excellent portfolio of work that showcases storytelling
abilities - including script writing. *Examples must be shared as
part of the application process.
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with basic video and photo camera
operations.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Experience creating motion graphics.
- Experience working on-camera.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm, occasional weekends and events. Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary is $50,525. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport.
