The University of Florida, in Gainesville, Florida is seeking to fill a full–time, tenure–track Assistant Professor position in Hispanic Linguistics with a primary specialization in syntax (theoretical approach open). Duties and responsibilities include teaching Structure of Spanish at the undergraduate and graduate levels and conducting and publishing/presenting research on Spanish syntax that makes connections to other areas of study within the department, including Spanish Heritage language, bilingualism, SLA, historical linguistics, and experimental and corpus–based approaches.

Position requires a Ph.D. degree in Hispanic Linguistics or a closely related field.
