Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management

 

 

 

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor of Exercise Science faculty positions in the growing Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management beginning August 2023.

 

 

 

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Department’s student-centered and research driven educational experience through maintaining a record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals while also supporting student success through course instruction at the undergraduate and graduate level in the area of exercise physiology within this nine-month, tenure-track position. In addition, candidates are expected to contribute to departmental, college, university, and professional service.

 

 

 

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

 

 

 

An earned doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in exercise physiology, or a related field is required.

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications Include

 

  • Prior experience conducting research in exercise physiology and biochemical laboratories American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Prior teaching experience in the area of exercise physiology
