Position Description

There are two tenure track positions available, at the Assistant Professor level, specializing in Business Analytics or Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSM). Dependent upon qualifications, appointment at the Associate Professor level may be possible. The expected starting date is August 16, 2022. The position entails teaching, research, and service which is complimentary to departmental needs. 


Required Qualifications

ABD with near term completion of a Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Operations and Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline; experience teaching business analytics, operations management, or supply chain management, at the university level; potential for excellence in research; effective written communication skills.

Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor requires holding a Ph.D. at the time of application and a record of teaching, research and service commensurate with the criteria for promotion to the rank of Associate Professor in the MOA department and School of Business Administration.

Review of applications will begin on October 7, 2021. Faculty will be interviewing applicants at the INFORMS conference. Video conference interviews can be accommodated if necessary. If you do not currently have a Ph.D, a letter from your Chair/advisor is required indicating that a dissertation proposal defense is completed or near completion.
