Position Summary:
Teach developmental and college level composition to students, Attend orientation and training sessions.
Primary Duties Performed:
Teach developmental and college level composition, Hold in-person office hours on campus, Maintain student and college records, Attend orientation and training sessions; Engage with department, division, and district.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in English, or Master's degree in related field (communications, rhetoric, compositions, reading, humanities) with at least 18 credit hours of approved graduate semester hours in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching in a community college setting, including teaching developmental level classes; Using a variety of classroom technologies using multiple modalities; PHD degree in English, or in related field (communications, rhetoric, compositions, reading, humanities) with at least 18 credit hours of approved graduate semester hours in English; 3-5 years of teaching experience at a college level. Reading certification a plus!
Salary Range:
Commensurate with Experience
