The University of Arkansas seeks applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Geography R0014577. The Visiting Assistant Professor of Geography is a one-year appointment to begin in August 2022. The successful candidate will teach four courses per semester. This position is eligible for fringe benefits but is not renewable. We seek an outstanding educator with experience teaching geography courses. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Required Qualifications: ABD in Geography or closely related field; Prior experience developing and teaching online and/or hybrid courses; Demonstrated record of teaching performance prior to the start of employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Geography or closely related field.
