SALARY AND BENEFITS:

The posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU's compensation plan. RVU's full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

RVU offers a full benefits package that includes Health, Dental and Vision insurance, along with 2 weeks accrued paid vacation days per year, 12 accrued sick days per year, personal days, 13 ½ paid holidays and 401(K) match up to 7% based on employee's contribution. A hybrid work model with remote flexibility is also available for eligible positions.

Primary Purpose

Provide administrative support to the Student Financial Services (SFS) department, primarily in the area of Compliance and reporting for Title IV.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide basic information about tuition and fees, refunds, and financial aid to students and staff.
  • Accurately record payments received according to University policy and procedure.
  • Assist SFS with projects, reports and correspondence.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all records.
  • Assist in Default Management.
  • Assist with Survey Monkey for students COA and satisfaction surveys.
  • Batch notifications to students.
  • Assist with enrollment reporting and monitoring.
  • Internal Outreach for data collaboration to assist in reporting.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Using tact, discretion, initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing equity, diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with high level of confidential material with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve independently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in intermediate level of computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to accurately receive and record financial transactions.
  • Proficient with Excel and working with large volumes of data.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree
  • 1-2 years of previous financial aid experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Professional background or experience in higher education and financial services.
  • Working knowledge of Jenzabar, PowerFAIDS or other financial aid software.
