The Psychology Department at Saint Mary's College of California (Moraga) seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor in Psychology (with a clinical/counseling and cross-cultural emphasis) for a one-year (AY 2022-23) position, which has the possibility of a one-year extension. Candidates must be able to teach introductory psychology, theories of counseling, and cross-cultural psychology. Preference for candidates who meet these requirements and who have also successfully taught Psychology within a liberal arts context. Departmental service is also required in this role, and will likely include responsibilities such as academic advising, teaching independent studies, orientation and admission events, etc. Some service to the broader College may also be expected. Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a PhD in Psychology or the equivalent and have relevant college-level teaching experience. Two or more years of successful teaching are preferable.
