Xavier University is seeking an Assistant Director of Territory Recruitment to join a strong team of admission professionals. The Assistant Director is the primary representative of Xavier University in an assigned geographic region. In this role, an individual will work directly with prospective students and their parents, high school guidance counselors, and transfer officers at two year colleges. The incumbent will be responsible for creating a comprehensive recruitment plan for their geographic territory. He or she will develop relationships with constituencies to convey information about University admissions policies, academic programs and specific features of Xavier’s campus. This position requires independence and self-direction within a defined organizational strategy.

Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working in university admission/enrollment management, sales, customer service, or similar
  • Ability to present effectively in front of a variety of audiences
  • Outgoing personality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be covered by University insurance
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work frequent evenings and weekends
