THIS POSITION IS FUNDED BY GRANTS. EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTINUED FUNDING FROM GRANT PROVIDER. We will consider applicants whose primary work setting is offsite, but position requires travel throughout the region. The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service’s TechGROWTH Ohio program is seeking a flexible, team player who will work with a multidisciplinary team of professional staff, executive consultants, and students to perform project management functions for the program. This position supervises the daily operations of projects and programs funded under TechGROWTH Ohio’s entrepreneurial programs for technology-based, high growth potential startups in Southeast Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team environment, have advanced problem-solving skills, and will be highly motivated to contribute to meaningful leadership programs that create public value and solve real-world problems in Southeast Ohio and beyond. Duties include: 1. Serve as the project manager for TechGROWTH Ohio regional projects and initiatives designed to involve a whole-of-community approach starting with entrepreneurs and innovators and progressing to bring community stakeholders, partners, and business leaders collaboratively together. Follow priorities identified by the Director and collaborate with other TGO staff and contractors for the conceptualization, development, and delivery of key TechGROWTH programs and initiatives. Monitor/contribute to the coordination of communication activities. Ensure all work plans are executed and all deliverables are met on time for TGO-funded initiatives and programs. 2. Participate in the development and execution of overall program strategy with TGO management and team members as well as other leaders and staff. Interface with local and regional stakeholders. Serve as an external and internal liaison throughout the region. Lead in the development of innovative value-add entrepreneurial training experiences according to program objectives. Identify, recruit, and coordinate subject matter experts for additional content development. Manage contracts and budgets in coordination with the Director. Strategically market TGO programs, initiatives, and offerings throughout the region. 3. Develop and maintain programmatic documentation. Provide regular reports and other documentation as needed for project sponsors and key stakeholders (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, and as appropriate/as requested). Provide quality control function for all deliverables prior to submission 4. Work with TGO leadership to meet program objectives. Facilitate collaborations with any/all other appropriate entities and/or individuals related to the program as necessary to achieve program goals. Represent TechGROWTH Ohio at regional and national meetings and related events. Facilitate and coordinate personal, group and online communication between project partners and participants. Identify best practices and successful implementation strategies and develop strategies for dissemination of program information for the benefit of the program and its constituency.
