The Accommodations Coordinator facilitates disability needs assessment and arrangement of accommodations for undergraduate and graduate students with sensory, physical, some medical and temporary disabilities. The Accommodations Coordinator is responsible for managing and arranging assistive technology for students while also investigating new technologies, maintaining inventory and training students on technology. The Accommodations Coordinator arranges accommodation resources such as CART, ASL, Braille, and educates faculty and administrators on the implementation of accommodations. The Accommodations Coordinator is the Office of Disability Services (ODS) point person for maintaining the disability management system, Accommodate, and addresses all technology and website needs for the office and AccessAbility Center. In supporting the mission of the office, the Accommodations Coordinator assists in accommodating guests with disabilities who visit campus. The Accommodations Coordinator participates with ODS staff in supporting the disability awareness initiatives of the AccessAbility Center.
