Job Details
Miami Dade College, Kendall Campus is now accepting applications for an Assessment and Data Analyst. The Assessment and Data Analyst coordinates the data collection, organization, review, and analysis for all on-campus and online programs to ensure reporting accuracy and grant compliance. This position collaborates with the College’s Institutional Research team and the District Adult Education Success team to prepare data reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs data mining by systematically running Student Database queries to extract faulty information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
- Provides systematic data reports and data review outcomes to the Director and other departmental staff
- Monitors reports of instructor performance, student evaluations, and verifies accuracy of the information in student databases in preparation for State reporting
- Studies and follows policies and procedures by the National Reporting System in terms of data quality and accuracy
- Reserves classrooms, maintains room charts, coordinates class changes and cancellations, requests room changes, and ensures accuracy of class information
- Oversees correct utilization of electronic rosters and attendance forms completed by teachers
- Provides support to Director with purchases and financial accountability
- Ensures timekeeping accuracy for payroll approval and record keeping
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience; or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience.
