Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities:

The VCU School of Education's Department of Counseling and Special Education is committed to fostering a positive, diverse and inclusive environment for faculty, staff and students. We are excited to invite qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds and with diverse perspectives for the position of Adjunct Instructor for the undergraduate and graduate degrees in Special Education.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree or licensure, certifications and/or professional experience required in the content area.
Proficiency with Zoom or other virtual platforms; self starter with the ability to work with little supervision.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse learning environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate in content area and previous higher education teaching experience; experience using CANVAS, as well as Zoom or other virtual platforms.

Salary Range: 1,352 per credit
