POSITION DESCRIPTION As part of the Acquisitions and Metadata Services team the Kelvin Smith Library of Case Western Reserve University, the Electronic Resources Librarian is responsible for the content management, licensing, and discovery of all the library’s electronic serials and databases. The Electronic Resources Librarian manages access to the library’s electronic resources using the electronic resources management system, discovery service, ILS, link resolver, authentication service, and databases A-Z list, and works with vendors to provide consistent, user-friendly access. The position will also collaborate with other teams at Kelvin Smith Library, particularly the Planning, Budgets, and Assessment and Research Services teams, to coordinate the selection, acquisition, and evaluation of electronic resources.
QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Library Science or relevant area. 1 to 3 years of experience.
