Adjunct Faculty, Sport Management

Northwood University seeks a dynamic individual with a strong record of teaching at the undergraduate level and strong interpersonal skills to teach Sport Management courses at the Midland, Michigan campus. Examples of possible courses available include Sport Marketing, Sport Law, and Facilities and Operations Management. The candidate will ideally teach in-person daytime classes, though evening or online classes may be available.

Northwood University offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees. The need for adjunct faculty is based on student enrollment and varies by semester.

Required Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in Sport Management or closely related field from an accredited institution.

· Significant industry experience in managerial or leadership roles within the Sport Management field.

· Experience training and/or teaching Sport Management.

· Ability to interact effectively with a wide and diverse range of students and colleagues.

· Well-developed oral and written communication skills in a variety of delivery formats.

Desired Qualifications:

· Earned Doctorate or terminal degree from accredited institution (such as Ph.D. or DBA).

· Experience teaching face-to-face and/or online undergraduate courses.
