About the Opportunity

The Research Scientist will conduct applied research, write briefs, and project manage in connection with projects for collaborating institutions, working in collaboration with other fellows.

Responsibilities Include:

Research, Content Development and Coaching:

• Develop and deliver content for training offerings including MOOCs as well as online and in-person coaching programs related to using new technologies for solving public problems.
  
  
• Conducting research on the use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) to enable greater public engagement and find solutions to urgent and pressing public problems;
  
  Project Management/Operations:
  
  
• Manage a team of research assistants working on a variety of projects related to the Solving Public Problems MOOC, executive education programs and open innovation projects.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  -Graduate degree in technology, computer sciences, public policy or administration or comparable professional experience or a BA and comparable professional experience
  
  -Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
  
  -Proven research and analytical skills.
  
  -Passion for the public interest.
  
  -Strong writing and editing abilities
