The University of Southern Indiana seeks applications for a twelve-month Instructor or Assistant Professor of Health Informatics and Information Management. Candidates for the renewable, non-tenure track Instructor must hold a master’s degree in Informatics or closely related field. Candidates for the tenure track Assistant Professor-level appointment must hold an earned doctoral degree in Informatics or closely related field. Applicants for Assistant Professor with ABD status will be considered for initial appointment with the rank of Instructor until degree is completed. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications. This position is available immediately.
The faculty in the College of Nursing and Health Professions work collaboratively with nursing and other health care professional faculty. The support for faculty teaching, practice and scholarship activities are substantially enhanced through grants and other extramural funding. A Clinical Simulation Center and Data Analytics Lab are used to enhance student learning and support innovative teaching.
