About the Opportunity

Responsibilities:

The School of Architecture Administrative Officers oversee the daily operations, management and direction of operational aspects of the School of Architecture in the College of Arts, Media and Design. This position is responsible for all of the daily operations of the School of Architecture, programs, offices, and facilities. Under the direction and management of the department chair, the Administrative Officer will be responsible for the management of the graduate programs and ongoing accreditation efforts, departmental communications, school events, as well as other administrative duties as needed. This role is one that requires a someone that is personable, self-directed and a quick learner, detail and goal oriented, and a team player. They will coordinate and cross train with the School's current Administrative Officer. The position will work to ensure overall effectiveness in the areas of business administration and support to the chair.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years relevant administrative experience is required.
  • Experience in academic fields relevant to arts, media and design preferred.
  • Strong background in academic program management, marketing, and communications preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Teams, Banner, Wordpress, Adobe Creative Suite and Social Media preferred
