- Provide leadership, vision, integrity, and a team-oriented philosophy to McCombs leadership for developing DEI best practices for diversity and inclusion efforts in recruitment, selection, appointment, on-boarding, and retention of students, faculty, and staff.
- Proactively plan and implement DEI programs and activities that both educate and promote equity and inclusion as core values to be collectively practiced at the School. Create new partnerships with Diversity and Community Engagement at UT Austin as well as other university offices and other institutions to bring new educational experiences to the McCombs School of Business.
- Work collaboratively with the School’s DEI committee to develop and implement programs. Assist with identifying ways to promote diversity and inclusion within the School; coordinate with individuals who oversee diversity and inclusion efforts across various units on the University of Texas at Austin campus.
- Guide and support Undergraduate and Graduate Directors of DEI in the School’s academic programs in developing and executing best practices for program-specific student recruiting, DEI programming, and inclusion initiatives.
- Assist the AD DEI in implementing the Provost’s Strategic Action Plan for Diversity as well as the University Diversity’s Action Plan and curating required DEI metrics.
- Coordinate with the McCombs marketing team to ensure strong and updated digital reporting of DEI metrics to various McCombs’ stakeholders including current students, alumni, faculty and staff.
- Working in a standard office, Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation, work schedule is generally 8am – 5pm with nights and weekend work when needed. Occasional event set up and break down management which can involve some lifting.
