Applications are invited for an appointment as a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Earth Sciences (Ref.: 515527), to commence on September 1, 2022 (or a.s.a.p. thereafter) for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding).
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in geology. Applicants with experience in Archean geology and tectonics and with an excellent publication record in leading geological journals would be desirable. Applicants should also be highly motivated and have a systematic approach to work and a good command of written and spoken English. Enquiries about the post should be sent to Prof. G.C. A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
