The University of Indianapolis is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach an online asynchronous undergraduate statistics class for the fall semester (August 2022).

We strongly prefer candidates who have formal training in online instruction and who have experience teaching statistics in an online, asynchronous format.

There may be opportunities to teach additional online courses at the graduate and/or undergraduate level depending on the candidates interest and area of expertise.

  • Teach a course with clear outcomes and meaningful assignments that is rigorous, inclusive, engaging, and interactive
  • Assess student learning outcomes as required by the department
  • Be responsive to student emails and be open to meeting with students as needed, even if through electronic means
  • Model effective teaching and professionalism
  • Masters Degree in Psychology or related field, PhD or PsyD preferred.
  • Experience teaching online classes (asynchronous and/or synchronous)
  • Experience teaching undergraduate statistics preferred
