The School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant rank in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the area of Biochemistry, Immunology and medicinal chemistry.

All candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Immunology, medicinal chemistry or related field of study.  Candidates with a pharmacy degree, post-doctoral training and teaching experience are preferred.  Primary teaching responsibilities include courses in Biochemistry, Immunology and medicinal chemistry related areas in the Pharmacotherapeutics course sequence.  In addition to teaching, engagement of students in research and the development of an area of research interest are expected.  All candidates must have excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills and demonstrate a commitment to teaching and scholarship, be highly motivated, be a team player and have a constructive approach to faculty and institutional affairs.
