DIVISION OF: Science, Technology, Engineering, and
POSITION: Adjunct Instructor in Computer Science, with
minimum qualification of a Master's Degree (18 credit hours in
Computer Science or Computer Science related content area) in the
field from an accredited institution, and commitment to teaching in
a historical Black College and University (HBCU) undergraduate
liberal arts college preferred.
STARTING DATE:TBD (Immediately, or at the beginning
of each semester)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must have a Master's
degree in Computer Science or a Computer Science related discipline
from an accredited institution of higher education at the time of
appointment. Demonstrated ability and/or interest in working in a
multi-ethnic, multicultural environment.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: Experience working with
diverse populations and/or multicultural teaching experience.
DUTIES: Duties could include but are not limited to:
teaching 1-2 introductory courses in Computer Science, plus
upper-level courses in either game programming, game design, and
development, organization and structuring of computer systems,
advanced topics on computer architecture, software and hardware
systems, or virtual memory topics; in various formats including
online, face-to-face, and hybrid modes.
