GENERAL SUMMARY
Reporting to the President/Chief Academic Officer, the Faculty Coordinator is responsible for three main academic functions: 1) developing, distributing, and tracking per term contracts for all Contributing Faculty University wide, in coordination with Human Resources and Academic Administrators, and 2) overseeing quality assurance priorities as assigned by the President/CAO.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for six to eight hours daily and includes physical demands associated with a traditional office setting, e.g., walking, standing, communicating, and other physical functions as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the contracting of contributing faculty each term, assuring the contracts are completed in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking contributing faculty contracts that meets University, budgeting, and human resource policies and practices
- In conjunction with program directors, distribute contracts to approved contributing faculty across all programs, utilizing accepted payment grades
- Collect contracts and report contracted employees to Human Resources
- Organize and maintain a system to track and provide teaching workload data for contributing faculty
- Provide contributing faculty instructional costs to finance
- Support contributing faculty communication regarding contracting
- Provide quality assurance progress reports across degree and non-degree programs
- Regularly assess syllabus consistency in courses with multiple cohorts; communicate areas of improvement to chairs/program directors
- Support new program development by applying quality course metrics as part of curriculum approval
- Develop and maintain a system to assess credit workload across all courses and percentage of online course delivery in all programs
- Annually assess online courses, providing a report of enhancements needed to improve student and teacher engagement
